Beckford Self Help Resources

The Parish Council have purchased an emergency resources container which is located at Beckford Village Hall. An additional container is planned for Little Beckford. We are currently in the process of stocking the container with salt, grit and sandbags. The grit spreaders are aso stored here.

Access will be gained by obtaining the key from Councillor Martin Spice by Tel 07939 532373.

BE VIGILANT

There have been two burglaries in Beckford in the past three days, one in Back lane and one in Little Beckford, both were in the daytime and involved forced entry through French windows; people should be vigilant. Dated 4/12/18

New PACT Surgeries

Police Surgeries are to br reintroduced within the villages. For Beckford, Little Beckford and Ashton under Hill it would be the second Wednesday in every month at 10.30am at Beckford Post Office. All dates and times are pending operational demands.

A new national phone number “105” to report power cuts .

A new national phone number “105” has been launched by electricity network operators for customers to call should they need to report or get information about a power cut in their area.
